Welcome, Zach!

Hi Friends!

My name is Zachary Sullivan and I’m the one of the new members of the team! I’m a co-op student from the newly reopened Antioch College, here to do what I can to support the development of DAA as well as learn from all of the top-notch people assembled together in one place. Originally from Oklahoma, I spent two years studying Liberal Arts with a Pre-Medical focus at the University of Oklahoma before hearing a story on NPR about Antioch’s reopening. My time at Antioch has shifted and centered my focus onto the importance of education. That new focus has lead me here, and I am proud to be part of a movement to revitalize education in Detroit, especially in the midst of so many school closings in the last few years.

 I’m happy to be here and can’t wait to start, so I hope this winter weather eases up soon!
